Teknoweb North America announced the availability of a FUTURA 10 wet wipes converting machine for demonstration and product development activities for North American customers. The FUTURA 10 converts semi-jumbo rolls into clips and stacks of wet wipes. Its capabilities include: automatic splicing at full speed, 600 cuts per minute and 150 stacks per minute, using a variety of substrates, liquids and lotions.
In cooperation with PFM Packaging Machinery Corp., a Scirocco flow wrapper is also available. In conjunction with the FUTURA 10, it is capable of packing up to 150 packs of wet wipes per minute.
